If a responsible university office enters into a contract on behalf of the university, it is the office’s duty to ensure that the university fulfills the obligations under the contract. In addition, in the event that the other party fails to fulfill its contractual obligations to the university or if other problems arise, it is the responsible university office’s duty to bring this to the attention of the appropriate university officials, including the Office of General Counsel, to ensure that the university’s rights are enforced.
